(Program 19)

My one act play, Busted, will be part of the Chain Theatre’s Summer One Act Festival! Inspired by real-life events, Busted asks the vital question, “What if you were so annoying that your therapist faked her own death to get away from you?”

HEY GUESS WHAT my play You Need Help will be presented as part of LimeFest at The Tank on August 12! You Need Help is inspired by chaperoning six overnight farm trips, working with middle schoolers for over a decade, and the hijinks my camp friends and I would get up to while our counselors snuck out to bars. For kids who love cows, for parents who fear TikTok, and for twelve year old me and twelve year old you and all the girls in the world.

De Novo

In pre-production

A young woman jolts awake in Times Square. She doesn’t know who she is or where she is. Then a weird guy claims that they’re in love. A feature film written and directed by Harry Rossi and me!

The Ship We Built

In pre-production

I’m proud to be producing a film adaptation of my friend Lexie Bean’s acclaimed middle grade novel The Ship We Built! It’s 1997, and Rowan knows he’s a boy even if nobody else sees him that way. Through his friendship with Sofie and the letters he attaches to balloons, Rowan navigates a tough fifth grade year with tenderness and resilience.

Pescador

Festival premier TBA

I’ve been producing Harry Rossi’s debut feature film Pescador since 2023. A woman searches for a magical fish. Her brother is found floating in the sea by a Costa Rican fisherman who longs for a son. Two white Americans search for connection and cause harm in a space that isn’t theirs.

I really want to make a documentary about the Jimmy Awards
